Local Masons install 2010 officers
New Year means new officers for Acacia Lodge in downtown Stuart
Acacia Lodge No. 163 F.and A.M. held its annual installation of officers on January 2nd at the lodge at 20 East Osceola Street in downtown Stuart.
R. Wayne Richter was installed as Worshipful Master, Jay Rex as Senior Warden, and G. Keir LeBeck as Junior Warden. John Pickford continues as Treasurer, and Paul Friend as Secretary. Jeremy Horton is now Senior Deacon, Ken Leedham is Junior Deacon.
Other officers include Senior Steward Steve Tate, Junior Stewards Frank Kiefer and Steve Ander, Chaplain Dale Hoffa, and Associate Chaplain Rev. James Gibbs. Marshal is Rick Beecroft, Musician is Marty Reitz, and Tyler is Tony Andreoli.
Installing Master L. Evans Crary, Jr., P.G.W.M and Installing Marshall William McMillan, P.D.D.G.M, conducted the ceremony. Chaplain Dale Hoffa and Musician Mary Reitz, P.D.D.G.M, participated in the program, along with the presentation of colors and honor guard from the St. Lucie Commandery Knights Templar.
Worshipful Master Richter thanked everyone for attending the ceremony: "This is an exciting day for the officers, as we fill new roles within the Lodge and progress a step further in our Masonic careers. I am humbled by the members' confidence in me and excited for the opportunities that exist for Acacia Lodge in this new year."
